Success in anything of value or endeavor – a sports team, a business venture, a battle and more importantly, our families and marriages – requires the effort of more than one individual. There is a great need to be mentored and supported by comrades, by a band of brothers who can help bear our burdens and share our victories by the grace that is found in Christ alone. It is this very need that SMQA Men’s Groups seek to meet.

An SMQA Small Men’s Group is composed of 5-7 men who are committed to meet for about an hour at least twice a month over a specific period in order to help each other grow as sons, husbands, fathers – as Catholic men, based on the Word of God as it comes to us through Sacred Scripture and Tradition. Each group will be led by 1-2 Facilitators whose task it will be to call the group together as well as prepare for and facilitate meetings. Joining a men’s group is a response to Christ’s call to radical discipleship -- of learning the discipline of faith. It will entail commitment, involve dying to oneself, but bear the fruit of life in our homes, the parish and community. Please prayerfully consider responding to this call.
